Local Voice
Engagement with residents is crucial to understanding resident needs, expectations and experiences and ensuring their involvement in key decisions about Wirral.
A range of different types of consultations and insight gathering are carried out by many organisations across Wirral. This includes Wirral Council’s Qualitative Insight Team in Public Health, Wirral Council’s Have Your Say, Community, Voluntary and Faith sector and partners.
Findings are used in a number of different ways including to assess if proposals for change are right, to understand views on the quality of services residents receive and to put in place improvements and to challenge assumptions.
If you or your organisation has captured the voice of Wirral residents through consultation, gathering local insight, or by using the Qualitative Insight Toolkit, then you can add to our collective understanding by making a submission to our Qualitative Insights Repository.
The Qualitative Insights Repository (launched shortly) hosts insights that explore the wider determinants of health in Wirral and delve deep into the reasons behind the health inequalities experienced. The insights will support partners and council teams when making resident-focused decisions.
If you would like to share the local voice you have captured, then visit our Repository Sign-Up page (launched shortly), for more details
