About Qualitative Insight Repository

REPOSITORY NOT YET LAUNCHED - PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT REGISTRATION DETAILS

An online repository is a digital storage location where data and resources are systematically organised and made accessible over the internet.

The Qualitative Insights Repository is a central online platform for partners and council teams to share and view Health and Wellbeing insights gathered from Wirral residents. The insights have been collected by Wirral's Qualitative Insight Team and many partners from across Council and the Community, Voluntary and Faith sector.

What is qualitative insight?

Qualitative insight is information gathered from people that describes their experiences, opinions, and motivations.

This insight can be used to help understand people’s behaviour and influence decision making to better suit the needs of people and communities.

Why are we collating Wirral's qualitative insights?

Building on the work of the Qualitative Insight Toolkit, which provides guidance on how to gather insights. The Qualitative Insight Repository is the site to share community insights that have been gathered.

The repository benefits third sector organisations in the Community, Voluntary and Faith sector by providing partners with insights collected from residents. It adds value to the work of Wirral’s Public Health Team and the wider Council. Other benefits of the repository include:

  • Having an accessible and central location hosting local qualitative insights.

  • The repository highlights the breadth of work happening throughout Wirral to help improve residents’ health and wellbeing.

  • It supports evidence-based decision making when planning and delivering services to residents. Strengthening a more targeted and resident-focused response.

  • It mitigates the risk of different organisations asking residents the same questions time and time again, avoiding consultation fatigue.
